MRT-breakdown-counter1MANILA, Philippines—A broken rail brought to a halt the operations of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT 3) on Friday evening.

MRT 3 Director Renato San Jose said train operations as of posting time is only limited from Shaw Boulevard station in Mandaluyong to Taft Avenue station in Pasay City.

San Jose said train operations would resume once the technical glitch that hit Santolan station in Quezon City is fixed.

No other details were available as of posting time.
