A train of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) suffered an electrical failure, prompting the operator to unload at least 470 commuters yesterday afternoon.
The MRT-3 said passengers were told to get off at the Ayala station in Makati after the northbound train's motor broke down.
"The passengers were loaded onto the next train, which arrived six minutes later," the management said.
The defective train was taken to the MRT-3 depot in Quezon City for replacement of electrical parts.
