The management of the Metro Rail Transit line 3 (MRT-3) apologized for the delay in the deployment of trains during rush hour on Monday due to “pre-insertion checks.” “We apologize for the inconvenience caused and we will be taking measures to ensure higher train availability earlier in the morning,” it said in an advisory.

The management said additional trains would be available “shortly” to assist passengers as it prepares for train insertion.

As of 7:12 a.m., there were 12 operational trains and 12 trains running along the MRT-3 line. Headway was estimated at 8.5 minutes.

It added that one more train is being prepared for insertion.
