Passengers on a southbound train of the Metro Rail Transit had to disembark at the Santolan station on Thursday morning after the system encountered a technical problem.

The train's passengers disembarked at 9:14 a.m., a tweet from the Department of Transportation-MRT said.

The problem was classified as Category 3, meaning the train was removed without replacement.
