A technical problem disrupted the operations of the Metro Rail Transit on Monday morning.

According to a tweet posted by the Department of Transportation, the glitch occurred at 8:09 a.m.

Passengers were unloaded at the Ortigas Station southbound.

The problem was identified as under Category 3, meaning the train was removed without replacement or there was cancellation of loops and insertion.

Management apologized to passengers for the inconvenience.
