Passengers were forced to get off the train on Tuesday morning after the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) encountered a technical problem.

In a tweet, MRT-3 said passengers disembarked at Cubao Station southbound at 8:55 a.m. following the technical glitch.

It received a Category 3 status, meaning the train was removed without replacement.

The MRT-3 administration apologized to their passengers for the inconvenience.

Meanwhile, there were 19 trains running as of 9 a.m. on Tuesday, the MRT-3 said in another tweet.
