MANILA, Philippines–At least 10 people were hurt after an emergency braking system of a Metro Rail Transit (MRT 3) train was triggered Wednesday morning, police report said.

Police said five passengers were injured in Ayala station, four in Magallanes station and one in Taft station after successive north bound trains of the MRT suddenly stopped.

Police added that the injured passengers were immediately brought to the hospital.

INQUIRER.net has tried to call the MRT 3 management but has not answered our call.
